Mónica was born in Quito. She holds degrees, in Tourism and Hotel Administration and a Licensed as Naturalist Guide. She has been with Red Mangrove since 2010. Mónica speaks English, French and Portuguese. She had experience worked in conservation projects development in Brasil and Ecuador mainly and managing ecotourism projects in harsh and vulnerable zones. She is musician with studies in composition and music production. Mónica studied Thai and Mediterranean cuisine too.

He was born in the United States, grew up in Papua New Guinea, and has 20 years experience as a diver. He has certification as a Padi MSDT Instructor (Padi Master Scuba Diver Trainer) and Nitrox Specialties Instructor, including Nitrox, deep diving, wreck diving, underwater video and digital photography, and drift diving. His diving experiences have been throughout the Caribbean and in Florida, Greece, Papua New Guinea, Hawaii, the Ecuadorian coast, and the Galapagos Islands.
